The Israel Softball Association mourns the loss of its members:
Yehuda Ben Yisrael, who passed away on August 25th, 2008, was a great person, athlete and leader in the African Hebrew Israelites Community in Dimona.
Hanuna, Dimona‘s Women Team and one time member of the Women‘s National Team. She represented Israel in the Women‘s European Championships in 2005.
Ruth Duffy served as head scorekeeper and statistician for many years. Her contribution in these areas and in establishing and running the ISA website were invaluable to all of us.
We all mourn, and share in the sorrow of our friend, Richard Duffy.
Dave Lalchok a former player of Adamit-Shomrat, was killed by a Katyusha rocket, in the Second Lebanon War during August 2006, at Kibbutz Sa’ar. The Israel Softball Association expresses its condolences to the family
The ISA and Crazy Richard mourn the loss of Andy Hauerstock, a veteren player and sponser of the Crazy Richard team for over 20 years, who passed away recently. We join his family in their loss.
Jon Dym, a manager and a player for the Dawgs passed away in August 2006. Jon was instrumental in establishing a team in 1990. After several years in the USA, Jon returned to Israel and immediately rejoined the ISA as a team member and umpire. The ISA joins the Dym family in its sorrow.
